Ctrl Alt Delete

Postby macroexpert » Fri Feb 28, 2014 10:43 am

Can Macro Expert both Unlock a locked desktop (Ctrl Alt Delete, Alt u userid, Alt p password) as well as reboot and logon to a domain (Active Directory) desktop ?

Group Policy enforcement prevents any direct landing on user desktop without security steps

1. system will have to detect user is not in program manager desktop or desktop is locked
2. system will read or use a stored variable value for uid pwd
3. ctlr alt delete, enter values

In the trigger/scheduler option dialog, there is an option for that.

It is unclear if all my questions were answered, so allow me to restate another way

1. system is running something on schedule (that was NOT my question)
2. at some point, system MUST BE REBOOTED or SYSTEM BECOMES LOCKED due to screensave/display timeout
3. before executing the NEXT scheduled task, will macro expert unlock the desktop (Ctrl Alt Delete and enter uid/psw) before it runs next scheduled task ?

if system had a reboot, it is obviously in a state of unable to run any schedule tasks that REQUIRE user desktop, unless it logs on to Active Directory (Domain account)
